A film producer, who doesn’t believe in Christmas, is determined to make the horror film Evil Santa 4, but things go horribly wrong when the real Santa Claus accidentally lands the role.

STORY COMMENTS
SANTA IN HOLLYWOOD is a family friendly, holiday magical fantasy filled with imagination. The concept is very clever. “Saving Christmas” movies are not new or original to holiday films, but the concept of the real Santa landing a Hollywood role of Evil Santa in a horror film offers a fun twist to a familiar genre.
Many universal themes vibrate with the audience regarding the idea of believing in the spirit of Christmas and magic. The script sends a strong message about believing not only in the holiday, but believing in one’s self. It teaches

Ant is 6 years old and 32 years passes, which would make her 38, not 40. Also, just give Noel an age.
On page 37 there’s an odd conversation when suddenly in the middle of the conversation, Ant mentions her mother. It doesn’t flow well.

Santa’s goal is clear. However, if Santa is going to vanish or get sick, it would be fun to foreshadow this and SHOW him fading in and out, or getting weaker or older, when the meter changes, but not just at the end.
It would benefit the character of Ant to have stronger comedic beats. In the first half of the script she remains pretty rigid and hostile, but not necessarily funny or quirky or relatable. Find a way to make her determined, but soften her behavior. She might act like she’s in charge, but internally show her struggling and more of her vulnerabilities.
Make her more like a romantic comedy, quirky female. In the first half she doesn’t really feel “real” vs. later in the script when she has a change of heart.
The idea of the dog shelter is a nice attempt to make her more likable and relatable, but the scene doesn’t flow well with her current character presentation. If she were softer and quirky, then one could visualize her liking dogs. There’s also no payoff for the dog shelter, making it feel inserted or

One of the major issues in this film is the fact that even though Buddy was raised as an elf he is human and has to learn how to live, and act as one. All his life he was raised to be one thing, just to find out that it was all a lie and he was actually something completely different. The idea is that it doesn’t matter what you start out with but what you do along the way is what counts and makes a difference. One of the other major issues is that people don’t believe in anything unless they can touch it or see it for themselves. People have lost their faith in humanity, God and in Christmas.…

Is Santa real? An indefinable amount of people believe that Santa does not exist because there’s no stable evidence to prove his existence. To some people, flying reindeer, living in the freezing temperatures of the North Pole, and Santa’s travel to all houses in the world in one night are unreal. However, all of these are possible with levitation, thermostats, control of time and space, or in other words, science. Flying reindeer may seem like something impossible, but something similar today exists.…
