Evil In Beowulf

Beowulf, the epic poem in which good destroys the evil, took place in Denmark. Beowulf, the good travels from Geatland to save Herot from the demons that lurk about. One in which his name is Grendel, he killed King Hrothgar’s comrades and destroyed the Mead Hall. Grendel was irritated with all the happiness coming from the Mead Hall, so he attacked. Beowulf hears about the incident, gathers his geats, and proceeds to help the King. Beowulf arrived and proceeded to try to get Grendel to show his face. Later, Grendel appears fighting Beowulf’s men, and Beowulf himself. He succeeds in his battle against Grendel by detaching his arm from his body and Grendel runs away, bleeding to death. Proceeding on from there, Beowulf fights two more battles.
