Evidence-based care is expected in healthcare because it leads to higher quality of care and best patient outcomes. Evidence-based practice encompass the best available evidence, as well as, clinical expertise and patients’ preferences (Melnyk & Fineout-Overholt, 2015). Clinicians must conduct a well-constructed search to appraise the evidence. The use of keywords, as a search strategy, provides a general picture of the resources relevant to the question.
