It is essential for nurses to acquire search strategies and know where to search for Evidence based research in order to adopt evidence based practice, acquaint themselves with new research findings which will help nurses to develop, upgrade, and become competent in their skills ( Sewell & Thede, 2013, p. 199). In addition, competent nurses will educate their patients on what to do to be safe and live a healthy lifestyle.
