Thank you for your post Nicole. That was a great interview you had with Sandy. It was very instructive. Stacy truly represents the core value of what the profession of the Nurse Practitioner is all about. Her statement on “theory being the backbone of nursing and medicine” was very thoughtful. Theorists like Florence Nightingale made real changes in the world of nursing. Florence devoted her life to the cause of providing clean, compassionate nursing care for the sick. She had brought about worldwide reforms in nursing and hospital administration as well.
