Evidence based practice committee gathers best practice data, for best patient outcomes and disseminates it to be utilized as practice. “Evidence based practice assumes that evidence is used in the context of patient preferences, the clinic situation, and the expertise of the clinician”. (Masters, 2014, p 236).

I have not served on any type of hospital committee, but I have served on a joint commission readiness committee for hospice.
