In today’s society, new findings based on the premise of Evidence-Based Practice have helped set up guidelines and advance the standards for healthcare members especially nurses in the clinical setting. According to Hood (2014), the term Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) have been define by Sherwood and Barnsteiner as “practice based on the best available evidence that also incorporates patient values and preferences and clinician judgment and expertise” (p. 250). It is one of the most discussed topics among the Nurse of the Future Nursing Core Competency due to its effectiveness and usefulness in the healthcare
