Honestly, in my opinion, if evidence-based decision making had been used this whole disaster could have been ultimately avoided and this would not be a part of history as we know it to be today. I have learned, time and time again, that research is so important when it comes to making decisions. You must know your different options and the potential results of each so that the decision you make is going to be the best possible one. If there would have been thorough research conducted along the way, any issue that arose could have been resolved instead of resulting in becoming too much and leaving everyone defeated.

Evidence-based decision making takes a lot of thought and consideration and being incompetent will not get you where you need
