Everyman Pilgrimage

To begin with, Everyman is the main character of the story and in the beginning he is sentenced to go on a pilgrimage to undergo judgement which he is not ready for, there are many scenes or encounters, which uncovers the hidden message, although, amongst all, two in particular stand out the most.The first encounter is when Everyman is asking Goods to go on the pilgrimage with him However; Goods says no due to the fact that he’s the reason why Everyman has to go on the pilgrimage. On page 14 Goods states “But if thou had me loved moderately during as to the poor given part of me, then shouldest thou not in this dolour have been,...”The following quote basically states that if Everyman would have used his money wisely and even given some away
