On January 30, 1933 the shocking Holocaust begin. The unimaginable malevolence was unleashed on the Jews by Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party. German troopers rash the innocent homes of Jews, forcing them to bow underneath. The Jews living an everyday normal life were now a target for an inhuman evil man, Adolf Hitler. We read and learn about the terrifying demonstrations in the concentration camps by unique and individual stories from the surviving Jews. I believe their stories should be heard and we as a country comprehend to never allow evil to haunt our grounds. According to the Holocaust center there were 11 million victims killed during the Holocaust. However, records demonstrate it’s difficult to be an exact. Reality behind the straightforward sentence was an awe-inspiring nightmare. Wiesel’s mother and younger sibling were taken to gas chambers where they suffocated to death. Tragically, a great many victims were faced with as they were taken to their death. Elie Wiesel talks the shocking words, "Never shall I forget the little faces of the children whose bodies turned into deaths of smoke beneath a silent blue sky." Its hard for one to read the survives memories during the holocaust. The details describe to one how it truly was for the Jews. No longer did it matter the victims age, gender, or ethic backgrounds they were all slaves to the Nazi Party. Image being taken and forced in deadly situation with no control unable to save yourself or families. Therefore, I image the effort of strength it takes the Jewish survives not to surrender.
