Have you ever met someone who always stays positive even when things are hard. Have you ever went through a hard time? How did you react to the hard thing? Did you give up or keep pushing through it? In the story Fly Away Home,by Eve Bunting, Andrew always stays positive even though he lives in an airport, he still stays positive and tries to pick the best out of living there. For example, instead of Andrew just sitting around, he tries to make money to help his dad go to work. Another example of him staying positive is that he is grateful for the things that he does have. Lastly, he is a sweet and nice boy.Those are some reasons how he stays positive.

One example of Andrew being positive is that he tries to earn money to help his family. One example of Andrew earning money is that he goes out in the parking lot and helps pick up the luggage carts that people have left.When he does that he gets 50 cents. Another thing he does to earn money is that if someone looks like they need help with carrying their bags he will offer to help them. One problem that he faces, though is that not all people help him by tipping him after he helps them bring their bags to their car. Lastly Andrew earns money by calling taxis for people if they don’t have someone picking them up after they get off their airplane. That is how Andrew stays positive.

One reason why he is grateful for his things is that when they couldn’t get a taxi instead of Andrew being upset he says “ok,I like to walk” that takes a lot of courage to say that. Another reason why Andrew is grateful for what he has is that he takes care of the things that he has. He doesn't lose anything because everything is important to him.Lastly When his dad calls to get an apartment and it ends up not working Andrew tries to point the good out of the airport instead of getting upset. That is another reason why he stays
