Sometimes you need to keep trying and never give up like Andrew in the story “Fly away home” by Eve Bunting. The lesson that Andrew learns is don't give up.
One way, that he does not give up and stays strong because, he is homeless and lives in the airport and does not have a lot of money to afford a home or an apartment. So that's when he knows he has to stay strong when he and his dad our going thought a thought. When his dad doesn't get the job he tries to stay strong because he wants his dad to get a job for 2 reasons one reason why he wants he dad to get a job is for him to make the money to buy a house and food for them. And when he knows that him and his dad don't have enough money for enough thing. Another reason, why he doesn’t give up is because he’s inspired by a little bird he saw stuck in the airport. The bird himself does not give up because he came inside the airport and could not get out because every time the doors open he was too slow. And Andrew had told the bird to never give up because he wants he does not the bird to be stuck like him and the airport .So the bird and Andrew both taught each other something to get of the airport and there troubles.

He saves money by stop buying unnecessary items like pies after dinner. That's one reason, how he saves money and does not give up because he keeps pushing himself not to spend money on unnecessary items. Another piece of evidence, is when he says, “he just wants to cry and punch someone.” He says this because he does not have a home or a lot of money to do things like go to school because does not have a place to live.” He does stays strong and holds all of his feelings inside instead of get mad and screaming. Those our some reason why he does not give up and stays strong in tough times. This supports my claim because this is some evidence why and how he stays
