1. What were your personal goals for this session? (Focus on your skill development rather than what your goals for the client were) Well during this session my focus was on building rapport with the client, since it is still early in our sessions. I want to make sure we develop a trusting relationship. Also, I would like to work on helping and guiding the client to find goals for her presented problems.

What, if anything, did you miss that you might have wanted to explore, or might do differently next time? I want to be able to explore the action plan more, and finding out the client intention on willing to change the situation.

Before: The client seemed a little nervous to talk today. I allowed her to get comfortable before recording. This was a redo session because our third partner made a mistake, and pressed stop on the recording and she thought she was pressing play. During: The client warmed up during our session and I was able to build rapport with the client. It was another distractions today during our session. The library attendant came and was trying to get our attention during recording, because we didn’t have enough time to record the full twenty minute session.
After: I wasn’t ready to end the session and I don’t think the client was ready for the session to end
