For faculty, staff and students who violate related regulations, punishment shall follow proper procedures with sufficient evidence, based on the principles of clarity, qualitative accuracy, and appropriateness, strictly in accordance with relevant regulations at the Business School, Hunan University, and National levels.
For faculty and staff who violates regulations, HNUBS will give criticism or take disciplinary actions, which consist of warnings, serious warnings, suspension, reduced pay and dismiss.
For students who violates regulations, HNUBS will give criticism or take disciplinary actions, which consist of warnings, serious warnings, demerits, academic probation, and expulsion. For students who violate the principles

The University currently has 23 schools and colleges, including Business School. Except EDP, all programs of HNUBS must go through rigorous evaluation and approval from the Ministry of Education of our country.
HNUBS offers 6 undergraduate programs: (i) Management Science, (ii) Business Administration, (iii) Marketing, (iv) Information Management and E-Commerce, (v) Accounting, and (vii) Finance Management. The Management Science major grants students bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Engineering. The other 5 programs grant students bachelor’s degrees in Business Management. Currently, there are 2020 enrolled undergraduate students in HNUBS, including 50 international students.
The Business School has 10 graduates programs, they are Master of Business Management, Master of Management Science and Engineering, Master of Business Administration(MBA), Master of Executive Business Administration(EMBA), Master of Professional Accounting(MPAcc), Master of Valuation(MV), Master of Auditing, Executive Development Program(EDP), Doctor of Business Management, and Doctor of Management Science and Engineering. For the purpose of quality management, the Teaching Affairs Office of Hunan University sets up “Teaching Quality Monitoring and Evaluation Centre” to guide undergraduate teaching quality management. The Graduate School of Hunan University establishes the Training Office for standards establishment, examination, supervision and assessment, and the improvement of teaching quality of postgraduates for science degrees, MBA, EMBA and MPAcc education. All undergraduate students, except the international students, must take the Chinese College entrance exams, and after they have met the minimum requirements for admission, the Hunan University will admit students with highest scores and having Business School as their target School. The policy serves as a fundamental safeguard of the quality of admitted undergraduate students.
