I also felt that not being able to speak Spanish created a barrier in my care, which is why I rated myself at a 3 in that box. Time wise my pt. received adequate care. Charting was a little more difficult for me. It was only my second time on the floor this semester so I hope to get more experience with the computer system and charting. I did manage

We checked on every patient initially and did our basic assessments. After we checked on everyone, we went to give medications to J.K knowing he would take some time to get situated. I got to administer medications through a j-tube which doesn’t happen too often. I learned to not over use flushing with water because it will make the patient bloat more. I will make sure to remember this once I become a nurse.…

Other things, in my opinion, cause this resume to be ineffective is that she should place the education background somewhere visible and to highlight it. When I glanced at her resume, I personally did not recognize her education background until I reread it multiple times. And before I saw her education information, I intentionally want to suggest that she should put education background into the resume, which she had done already. One more thing, she did not fully explain her roles for each job in the Related experience, what she was in charge of, specifically. For instance, when I read her experience as production assistant, I want to know if she takes care of filming the season 45, video editing, scening setup or in what way she handled…

I had several low points. Finding out that I would not get to work with the patient I had worked hard to prepare for was discouraging. Being switched around so many times made me feel like I was on a rollercoaster all day. I tried to ask questions about the NAG and got put off both times. I wasn't sure if I needed to continue to work on the NAG of my original patient or if I needed to switch the NAG information to the second patient I was assigned to share with a fellow student.…
