There were three types of quadrat methods such as list quadrat, list-count quadrat and chart quadrat. Out of these three methods we applied list-count quadrat method for phytosociological study. In every study site, we randomly studied 20 quadrats of 100 m × 100 m size for tree species, 30 quadrats of 5 m × 5 m size for shrub species and 50 quadrats of 1 m × 1 m size for herb species.
4.2.1 Quantitative analysis The important quantitative analysis such as density, frequency and abundance of tree, shrub and herb species were determined as per Curtis and McIntosh (1950). Frequency (%) Terms of percentage occurrence indicates the degree of dispersion of individual species in an area. It was studied in various places to record the name of the species which occurred in each sampling unit.
Frequency was calculated by the
