his chapter shows the methodology that guided this study. The chapter shows the research design, study population, sample size and selection, sampling methods of data collection, data collection instruments, data quality control, data management and analysis, ethical consideration, limitations and conclusion.
3.2. RESEARCH DESIGN
The study adopted a prospective cross-sectional research design.
Prospective design study means we will use primary data. This method is used when the author create the data, this study is necessary because the second data does not exist, also this kind of study allow to reduce as much as possible bias because prospective studies usually have fewer potential sources of bias and confounding factors than retrospective studies.
By cross sectional design either the entire population or a subset thereof is selected. Cross-sectional information gathered represents what is going on at a particular point in time. This significantly helped in obtaining useful data in a relatively short period and more cheaply (Bordens and Abbott, 2011).
The approaches that were adopted by the study were both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. As suggested by Fassinger and Morrow (2013), the quantitative approach was used for descriptive statistics and statistical inferences while the qualitative approach provided data for in-depth analysis.
3.3. STUDY POPULATION
The sample of the study was 200 respondents, 100 of them in Spain, and the other 100 in china.…
