Observation Summary Each of our observations on a High/Scope inspired classroom were conducted separately in three different locations and times. The Child Development Center was composed of one teacher, two aids and twenty-one students from ages three to four. The classroom 's thematic unit was about animals; therefore, many pictures and photographs displayed all around the classroom. During large group time, the teacher sang a song with the children whom seem to have a clear knowledge and routine of what they were doing. It focuses on Piaget’s theory that the child learns upon their interests (intentional learners) and are constantly being assessed. In addition, if given the choice of selecting a curriculum to teach by or recommend parents to enroll their child, High/Scope curriculum would be one of my top choices. It would be one of my top choices due to its significant benefits it has shown through research, but I would also consider different social factors prior to selecting this curriculum. It all depends on the child and what they need and how they particularly learn best to ensure they are obtaining the most effective education.
