An extensive literature search to assess the various healthcare based programs will be undertaken to determine what is the effect of comprehensive patient handling and transfer training on the rate of work related musculoskeletal disorders compared to minimal training improve job satisfaction within a twelve month timeframe. In the event this plan is not implemented, providing the stakeholders the evidence and knowledge to create a culture of well-being and safety, can demonstrate to their employees how they are valued, committed, and supported. Initiating a proposed change must have upper management and leadership understanding for required policy and financial support. Front line staff are integral to implementing and sustaining the program. Their insights as to the challenges and barriers are paramount. Engineering and purchasing departments may provide input into the feasibility of various products available. Educators are essential to the training of all staff. Risk management can identify trends in patient handling injuries and outcome measures for the efficacy of the proposed program. The clinical care decisions that are increasingly shared among the various stakeholders will have to balance the economic and the clinical consequences among stakeholders. Identifying the problems, solutions, and stakeholders are essential to make a critical connection for the success of the proposed program
