Most of the time the supervisors are evaluating their employees, but it is also important for employees to evaluate their supervisor. The reason this is important, it could help you become a more effective supervisor. As supervisors, we may think we are performing our task as supervisor good and not notice any of the things that we are not doing good. An evaluation by your employees can confirm the effectiveness of your leadership skills. Supervisors need to be effective in many areas. The first area of importance is being able to communicate with your employees. The lack of communication can cause problems in our organizations.
