Evaluating Job Offer

Decent Essays
With much thought I'm afraid I'm not going to accept the job offer at Valiant Solutions. I am grateful for meeting with Ralph, Brenda and Chris; as they are really nice people. However, my current company entered into negotiation and made me a counter offer of more money. From the beginning of my employment here, my director and manager treated me extremely well. They value my work and appreciate my overall work ethic. The overall benefit at my current company, other than the terrible commute, makes it difficult to leave here. I feel terrible knowing you worked so hard for landing me an interview with Valiant. It was a pleasure getting to know you and I do hope we can stay in touch.
I attached a rejection letter for Ralph.

Marco, This is the response I know you have expecting concerning the religious accommodation I have requested. To be completely sincere, I knew that it would be denied as soon as I found out John Landeros was involved. I even commented about it while we were in your office. Unfortunately, Mr. Landeros is not professional enough to let past occurrences go and he allows them to influence his decision making. I know I am replaceable, just as every Lowe’s employee is, but I was hoping I could remain with the company I have enjoyed working for while living the standards of my faith.…

I am very excited about the prospect of positioning UW Faculty Oral Surgery as the first choice practice in Oral Surgery. Scheduling is often the first interaction a patient has with a clinic and it is a very important opportunity to present a smooth professional patient experience that makes referring providers and patients think of you when considering their oral health needs. Thank you again for your time and consideration, Rebecca…

After researching job openings in my hometown Tallahassee, Florida, I felt that the fitness trainer job at Youfit Health Club was the best job for me at this time. My experience matched the job requirements, for the most part, and I concluded that I would be a legitimate candidate. As I reviewed what Youfit was looking for in a fitness trainer, I quickly realized that my experience as a football college athlete directly correlated with the job. The first characteristic the job ad mentioned was a team oriented individual.…

Thank you for considering The University of North Florida as your home for the next four years. The admissions team is very displeased to inform you that there will not be room here for you at our college. After reviewing your essay and application we were all very entertained but doubtful we would ever be able to meet you. My favorite part of your application had to be when you explained why you didn’t do very well in your Spanish three class, “I got a C- in Spanish because yo no hablo espanol.” All of us who read your application got a kick out of that.…
