The two-party system still works to an extent, though it may work people are not represented fairly by agreeable candidates. This system is not effective in any aspect as it is a guaranteed win for only two prospective candidates rather than the collective of running candidates. The two-party system is not fair, people should be able to vote for who they want not the other way around. This idea creates the perfect storm for gerrymandering and many other unfair political processes. Furthermore this system does not represent the people and it does not help that our vote does not count in any way shape or form.
