“If you can't fly, then run, if you can't run, then walk, if you can’t walk, then crawl, But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward. (Martin Luther King Jr.) Even though Eva and Anne both went through really hard times they both continued to move forward. They both had a miserable life but yet they made it the best they could. They both had times where they had to make hard decisions but they continued going. Both “The Diary of Anne Frank” and “Freedom Writers” share the life lesson of even though life is hard that you should never give up and keep trying your hardest. Eva has had a rough life since she was young. Eva has been involved with gangs for a long time. She also had to see her dad get taken to jail when she was young.
