Active euthanasia involves the death of a patient with the assistance of a doctor. It is usually a faster process where the doctor kills the patient through the high dose of drugs or by inserting an injection into the patient with his or her consent. It is only done if the person is suffering from an incurable disease or is in the last stage where the patient can not bear the pain for the longer time. For example, a patient is given some medicines like sodium pentothal. By this intake they immediately fall into the deep sleep within few seconds and dies painlessly. Though euthanasia and assisted suicide are legalized in some countries like Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg. Switzerland, Germany, and some states of United States like Washington, Oregon, Vermont, and California. Still many people and countries argue that dying is the natural process. A person should not be allowed or assisted to die considering pain and permanent diseases. They should be given equal freedom to live as the normal people lives. “International Anti-Euthanasia Task Force (IAETF) is an advocacy group that opposes the legalization of euthanasia. They argue that Euthanasia is unconvincing by responding to several popular arguments. They state that euthanasia advocates use euphemisms and false claims to support their beliefs. For example, write the authors, dying patients have the right to refuse treatment, so the claim that doctors might force a patient to stay alive is unfounded. In their view, killing is always wrong—requests for euthanasia stem from pain and depression, and both problems can be treated.” Also, there are many organizations and groups that support the claim that pleading for euthanasia is inhumane and should not be practiced
