Evaluate the causes and effects of imperialism in Africa during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Thesis: Africa had lots of natural resources that would benefit Europe and help Europe achieve financial stability, this lead to the imperialization period in Europe which was justified by racial prejudice and inequality by explorers. In turn, technology and weaponry allowed Europe to get further ahead and allowed colonization to happen. Competition within the countries of Europe and surpluses of population allowed Europeans to take over Africa during this time period.
