Hermione reveals that she saw Snape bewitching the broom. Harry then believes that Snape is trying to kill him, and Harry grows more suspicious of Snape. This suspicion leads to Harry gaining more commitment to stopping the stone from being stolen. The next physical trail Harry must overcome is the Forbidden Forest. Harry was punished for being out of bed and now must spend the night with Hagrid in the forest trying to find the thing that’s killing unicorns. Within the forest Harry confronts the thing killing the unicorn and narrowly gets away. Harry gains the knowledge that the thing was Voldemort and that Voldemort is trying to steal the sorcerer’s stone. The next physical trail is when Harry faces off against is the trails and tests the teachers put in to guard the stone. Here Harry must survive these trails to get the stone and stop Voldemort.
