Agriculture was one of the things that made civilizations more powerful. Different foods grew in different climates like sago for example sago is grown in Papua New Guinea a place which only has one climate mostly rain all year round. Sago is a tree which people cut it in half and takes the middle out and use it for bread it takes up to four days to make. Sago can not be stored for that long after made. That did not make sago a good food source because they would spend so much time putting in and only getting out which means less calories you're getting. It also affects plants to grow which means if certain plants don't grow that means animals are most likely not going to be there. So that means that civilizations won't grow and animal domestication won't happen. There are 14 different domesticated animals in the world. Places like greenland have animals that have fur so that's where they get there resource from that animal or in Africa in a warm place the animals do not have fur to get. Food in wet places means that fields are green and there is green resources around so that means there is animals living in that area. 13-14 out of all the domesticated animals like pigs,cows,horses,goats,in fertile crescent compared to africa none of these animals could be domesticated. Domesticating animals made it easier for people because before people would hunt and with hunting you don't know if you will get something every
