I say to you today, peace will be blessed upon us even with the troubles of today and the difficulty of tomorrow. I still have a dream. It is a dream encapsulated in the dream of our kingdom.
I have a dream that one day this kingdom will strive to live out it’s creed : “Peace will not be served until those who are unaffected are as outraged as those who are."
I have a dream that one day war and hatred are non- existent, the common workmen of this kingdom and the next can sit down in peace at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day every gorge shall be inflated, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”
And when will be satisfied? We will not be satisfied until every one of our children have been given the right to proper education. We will not be satisfied until every child, woman, and man can live without fear of the poverty that exists
