Welcome to Douglas House of Love! Since you dropped by, you may want to know a little more about me...

I'm twenty four, a mom of one princess, and a wife to an amazing man.

My little family and I reside in Connecticut.

My joy, happiness, and greatest accomplishment is my beautiful family.

As cliche as it sounds, my whole life came together after I met my husband. I'm a huge believer in the universe and positive vibes. I feel as though what you put into the universe comes back. Parenting is difficult, especially if it's your first time. But, we were overjoyed to be going through this wonderful experience, together.

My inspiration for creating this blog was to vent, document, and track my journey. I wanted to have something to look back on. However, I realized there are a lot of other moms out there who feel the way I do. So I decided to share my journey with you all.

I'm new to motherhood and I'm learning as I go. Whether it's sharing a funny story, providing a recipe for dinner, or giving you tips on how to breastfeed. I want to help and let you know that you are not alone.

But, motherhood isn't just about our children. It's also about self-love. Taking care of ourselves mentally, physically, and our relationships is equally as important. It's easy to get lost in your kids and your day-to-day lives. I will do my best to share my own strategies on how I handle these situations.

I am going to be as open and honest as I can.

I look forward to posting about life, love, fashion, food, and
