Oh! good morrow to you, sir Henry. So good to see you again. How is the dagger I made for you last week? I worked long, hard hours on that dagger to make it just right for you. I take pride in all my work. Good was it. That’s good. Is there anything else that you would like to buy from us? I’ve got spears, axes, horse shoes, shovels, anything with metal. An Axe thee sayeth? Well we shalt do that for thee. At which hour would thee like to pick it up. Next week? Tis fine. My dad and I shall make quick time of it.

I’ve almost finished here. Just a bit more to tidy up. Why don’t you go on ahead and get some dry meat from my good friend John around the corner for our visit to the Globe Theatre later this afternoon. While Henry is getting our meat, let me now tell you a bit about myself.

Within the second paragraph, Godfrey feels ashamed by his poverty and refers to Pickle as a “presumptuous boy” and an “insolent upstart” and they decide on a “formal challenge” to duel with swords. By including these insults, the two men’s attitudes are portrayed as indignant and irritated. However, by specifying that their duel would be a “formal challenge,” the author further conveys how social propriety is more important than emotions and tends to limit how they are expressed in this passage. In addition, the author also makes a point to state that the two men “helped to pull off each other’s boots” before their fight.…

I would come home after work and tell my parents it was not going to be possible to buy a vehicle, even after working all summer break.
