Eugene H. Krabs (1942-2017)
Eugene Harold Krabs “Mr. Krabs”, a Bikini Bottom native, pinched his last penny on March 19th, 2017. He died of a massive heart attack after receiving devastating news about the true paternity of his beloved daughter Pearl Krabs. He was 74 years old.
Mr. Krabs was born to Victor and Betsy Krabs on November 30th, 1942. As a young crustacean, he attended Poseidon Elementary school where he met his childhood best friend turned business rival, Plankton. After completing school, he went on to join the Navy. While in the Navy, Mr. Krabs learned many nautical songs and became fluent in pirate lingo. At sea, Mr. Krabs very quickly gained the respect of others by showcasing his super strength and became well-known for his rock-hard abs. Fellow sailor mates nick-named him “Armor- Abs Krabs” after he proved his rock-solid shell was indestructible. His life at sea was a very rewarding one. As a sailor, he learned the importance of hard work and the value of a dollar. He began his culinary career in the Navy where he was promoted to Head Chef of the S.S. Diarrhea. Upon his retirement, Mr. Krabs went on to build and own the most successful restaurant in Bikini Bottom- The Krusty Krab. His greatest business achievement was creating the famous Krabby Patty. During the ceremony, the Mayor of Bikini Bottom will declare The Krusty Krab a historical landmark of Bikini Bottom and an honorary statue of Mr. Krabs will be erected. Following the ceremony, there will be a private burial of Mr. Krabs, and all his worldly possessions, at The Flying Dutchmen Cemetery where “X” marks the spot.
