Before reading this report the reader must acknowledge the information provided is a broad overview of Etihad Airways and their approach to management. This is due to the limitations that have affected the report’s depth; including though not limited to: the due date of 4th May 2012, and the world limit of 3000 words. In addition to this, the report has been written with the assumption the reader has knowledge in the area of business management and aviation. The following report will analyse the management system from one of the world’s leading airlines; Etihad Airways. The report will look at Etihad Airways as a whole including their management functions, structure, and adopted theories. Furthermore, how their management approach affects their success and individuality in comparison to their competitors. This will be justified from evidence drawn from business reviews, CSR reports, management texts, journal articles, and other academic resources.
