Ethos Pathos And Logos For Baby Children

Marketers have a very distinct way of winning over consumers with certain brands and logos. Having a child myself when I went to target to look at baby merchandise I could not help but notice items with cartoon characters on them that my three year old watch. There are several items with Disney characters and other logos that are familiar to my toddler. Parents might not realize just because of a character or a logo on a product they charge more for those items. The diapers by the same company had some with charters and some without and it had a two dollar price different. I did see products that were free of logos and media characters but they were not very noticeable brands. Some of the brands I have never heard of such as honest company. Marketers call early exposure to a brand “cradle to grave”. It states that a person will be loyal to the same brand for their entire life. The earlier the exposure to a brand the better for the marketer, which why they make items appealing to babies. I do support character licensing on infant products. I personally prefer natural products but products with characters make kids happy. All the bright colors and attractive images help with the child imagination which is very important for their developmental growth. As long as a product is safe if it has a character on it or a logo and the price is reasonable then I find even myself purchasing those items. As soon I got on the kid’s website Webkins the very first thing I saw at the top of the page was an advertisement to safe four dollars on amazon when you buy a case of huggies diapers. Many times parent’s help children go to websites online and by the websites having ads such as ways to safe on diapers the parents get drawn in by the advertisements.
