In the song, Cole sounds frustrated about the topic he’s addressing, as his voice sounds angry, but sorrowful shout throughout his verses, and goes towards a softer, mournful tone during the chorus. While some deaths are more prominent than others, there are several that I find to be particularly important. Before Harry’s time, there were the fan-titled “Marauder’s Era” encompassing the early lives of Harry’s parents, Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Severus Snape.
