Ethos And Symbols In The Zecuity Advertisement

Ever heard of a patch for migraines? The majority of medicine for migraines today is pills not patches. In 2015 an advertisement for Zecuity was published. This Zecuity advertisement is using ethos, pathos and logos to attract the audience.
This advertisement has only three colors. The colors are blue, green, and white. The whole background is blue from left is dark blue and in the middle it gets lighter then fades out into a greenish blue on the right. On the bottom of the advertisement there is a big rectangle bubble that is dark blue that has all the information of the medicine. Such as important safety information telling the audience medication contradictions or tell them adverse reaction to the medicine. There are four columns of informational paragraphs. On the first column on the right there is three bullet points with all green circles with words describing what it is saying in the paragraph beside it. One of those bulletin points out the “4 hour period” the medicine lasts in your system. The second bullet point talks about a clinical study that went on. Then, states the percentage of how people felt on the meds vs. a non medical patch. Last but not least it states call “migraine support solution” for assistance for Zecuity. On the

The colors in this advertisement are warm because of blue. It makes the audience feel there product will actually work and make them feel at peace. The audience feels the same way as the woman does when she has a migraine. The woman in the picture has a lightning going on in her head and in her stomach she feels waves. It makes the audience feel the waves as nausea and see the lightning as the sharp pains in their head when they have a migraine. Also, the other pose for the woman she looked relieved that she put the patch on. If she looked relieved that makes the audience feel if they use it they will be relieved of all the symptoms
