The study analysis focuses on the transition from million development goals to sustainable development goals: India‘s achievements, challenges and opportunities in terms of gender equality. For this analysis, it uses the national level data on GNP per capita, Year of Schooling, Labour Force Participation, Life Expectancy, Secondary, Education and Seats in Parliament. The paper analysis, what India’s achievements are in millennium development goals and what its transition is? This paper uses the econometric model, “Time Series Analysis” to find the trend of variables, for this purpose, that we use secondary data. The analysis result indicates that India had very close to reach the targeted level of Gross Enrolment Ratio, Primary Education, Secondary
