My ethnography site is the Musalla Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah located in University City, five streets west from the University of Philadelphia’s campus. The site is located in the corner of 45th and Walnut Street. The Musalla Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah is located next to many Muslim owned convenient stores and restaurants, such as Saads. There is some parking spots in this area, but walking there is a safe options as there is not that many cars that go around in that streets. The site is owned by the American Islam Charitable Project whose goals are to bring awareness to the Islam faith and teaching.
