We wish to employ no more than four expatriates. We will be on the lookout for employees who are highly skilled and experts in their fields. We will be posting ads on our website letting employees know of what expatriate positions we will be needing. We will also be going to each department to observe employees and see which ones could be potential candidates. As far as employing Indonesian counterparts, we will be posting ads on the newspapers in Jakarta to let its citizens know of the positions we will be hiring for. We will also be going to top universities in and around Jakarta to look for the most qualified students that can work for us. Young university students pose an advantage since they understand the culture and could help in suggesting ideas on ways to market our drinks to the youth, since the vast majority of Indonesians are younger than 30 years old. Before an expatriate begins the process they must make sure their passport is updated, meaning it must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of their arrival in Indonesia and it must contain at least two blank pages. This is very important in order to avoid any hassles and to start the expatriate permit/visa process smoothly. Once the passport is up to date the expatriate must then obtain sponsorship from their company. Once the sponsorship is obtained, the sponsoring company begins the work permit application process by submitting a Foreign Manpower Utilization Plan (RPTKA) to the Department of Manpower in Indonesia.
