He has a girlfriend. I try to stay neutral in the situation and not take sides, even though it is my brother. The rest of my family members are on my brother’s side. I will not go into detail. Both my brother and my sister-in-law call me to talk, and I don’t take sides. My sister-in-law is aware of the girlfriend and of course, she does not agree with it. All of my family is basically a Christian family. Some family member has allowed my brother to bring his girlfriend to their home. I don’t agree with having a wife and a girlfriend. I love my brother and when I see him and his girlfriend I treat them well. I had a family function at my home. My brother called me to see if he could bring his girlfriend. Community Involvement Unfortunately, since reflection 1, I have not been able to participate in any community involvement. Sometimes life gets in the way. The part of life that’s been hindering me is school. I am taking three courses, and these courses take up just about all my time. The rest of the time is devoted to my family. In reflection 1, I talk about learning to put family first, and that’s what I have been doing. I can say I have been a good citizen. I have not stolen anything. I have not robbed anybody. I have not committed any criminal or civil offenses. Therefore, my community is better because I am in it.
Conclusion
I think it is good for us to think about everyday ethics. It’s good to examine our motives for what we do and why we do them. I believe I have grown concerning putting family first.
