Tone is a very important part of addressing message including choice of your words and your dress. Let’s consider your voice first, if the voice is relaxed then delivering your message would be smooth. If it is shaky, you may not able to spread the message the way you intended. Same goes with nervous which is worst. Personally, I can’t remember any word when I get nervous. I also mumble a lot and voice turn to shaky. Once I remember I was stopped by police while I was waiting at the airport to receive my niece who was coming from Florida. First officer came to me and said what I am doing there. I was looking the officer and mumbling something which. Then the person who was sitting in my passenger seat says we are waiting here to pick someone up. Then office said, we should be waiting long this area only for pick and drop. Second is body language with your tone. How are you moving your arms and what position you are keeping your hands? Orders of the ideas are also play key role to send the messages to your audience to follow. In real life at work what we do is that we create flowchart or PowerPoint presentation to make clarity. If this case we have to be very careful what we say and what is in the PowerPoint. I remember once I was giving PowerPoint presentation at my work; accidently I clicked twice so it skipped the page which I was talking. So one of colleagues from a front line said that I needed to go back a page. So it is very easy to lose your audience if picture or PowerPoint slide does not have connection with the
