Ethics is a system of moral principles and a branch of philosophy that defines right and wrong human conducts. Ethics investigates questions such as: “How is the best way to live?” and “What is right and what is wrong?” Ethics define what is good or bad for individuals and society. Consequently ethics affect how people make decision and lead their lives. However ethics is not based on religion or law. The view we have of what is right and what is wrong will determinate the decisions we make in life. Being honest is one of the basic ethical behaviors. Honesty is a virtue which makes a person being appreciated, respected and loved for others. I truly think that all the humans are just humans, there is not any difference between anyone. All we deserve be treated equal and have the same rights. I personally had several experiences of discrimination. I am Cuban and I had to learned a new language and a new culture when I came to this amazing country about 3 years ago, but it was hard trying to be accepted for the society. I always knew than being an immigrant does not make me less than others; quite the opposite; all that situation made me stronger and focus in reach my dreams. Even when I had to deal with people who wanted me to feel embarrassed because my accent, I always thought: “I am not less because I do not speak your language perfectly and I am not superior because I can speak two language.
