Just like in our scenario it would probably be easier and quicker for the boy to steal money to pay for college, but then again, this is taking the lazy way even if it involves effort to steal. I know that when I want something but cannot afford to get it at that moment it can be upsetting. However, when I work extra hard for it and eventually get it, it feels a lot better. An example of this was last Christmas. I had been saving up to get a new laptop all year long, and for Christmas my mother bought me one. Yes it was super nice and exciting that I got the laptop and I was super grateful for it. However, knowing that I could of bought it myself would have been much more rewarding because that’s what I was working towards.
