I want to work at White Memorial Medical Center because I strongly associate with the hospital’s mission to provide the highest standard of care for patients who have various diseases and come from varying cultural backgrounds in a religious environment that integrate its Christian values and belief into their patient care. Caring for patients and being able to provide comfort and hope for them during a troublesome time in their lives is unbelievably rewarding. Thus, I believe that White Memorial Medical Center is the perfect place for me where I can practice my religious beliefs while delivery nursing care for my patients. Nevertheless, I always respect all of my patients regardless their religious, cultural, and ethic backgrounds.

How would you handle an angry patient or family member who has complained about another caregiver?
First, I would listen to the patient or family’s concern. After acknowledging and express my understanding of the situation, I would assure them that I would try my best to solve the problem. I think providing the highest level of care and maintain patient satisfaction is one of the most important factors in nursing care.

It is important for me to grow within an organization making myself of a value to them as well. I like consistency and stability.
