Ethics and Leadership Great leaders are defined by their character, actions, and behaviors. All of which are profoundly affected by the leader’s beliefs and personal ethics. Today, the world is in desperate need of ethical leaders with the ability to make sound decisions and hard choices to accomplish goals. Far too often our leaders choose to make decisions based on what is the most beneficial for themselves, and not for the rest of their organization, unit, or country. The lack of ethics in our leaders will lead to a lack of ethics among followers.
