Ethical Standards: Being a special education teacher, there are multiple roles to help students succeed in school. In diverse schools, special education teachers need to build a professional platform to help their students succeed. Special education teachers are held to ethical standards when it comes to the way they conduct themselves when working with students and their families. The Code of Ethics Principle (CEC) for Special Education Professionals has 12 principles that maintain special education teachers to a higher standards (*****, 235).
