The new employer is requesting the information and wants to use it in an attempt to beat First Union National to the market with new electronic banking services. With this scenario that’s being questioned about its ethics, and I do not think it is right for another competing company to ask for insight on another company’s plans from a previous employee. I know a lot of companies do this tactic for the simple fact that they want to be a step ahead of the game in making more money and beat out their competition to being the best. However, it’s not morally right to basically spy on another company or take their original plans to becoming a better company. I honestly don’t think it would be very ethical for her to behaving in such a manner in providing this company with the information that they wanted, no matter if it was the company that I wanted to work for all along. It would just show you the true colors and how far a company will go to get ahead of all the other competition. When a company does such a thing, they don’t care about you and you are just an expendable asset to the company. In all honesty,
