Women who do not think they have this support will only prolong the pregnancy which makes it harder on them to even look at abortion as an option. Whether the women knows it or not she will always have some sort of ethical obligation to the fetus. Sometimes this obligation isn’t enough to keep the fetus but it can limit the option of abortion.
