A professional counselor’s actions are viewed as high standards, therefore the ACACE are guideline set in place to ensure counselors know how to conduct themselves correctly as to avoid undesirable predicaments. A client is not trying to establish an improper relationship when seeking help for behavior, and emotional problems from a professional counselor, but the clientele is trying to improve his/her psychological condition. The ACACE comprises, but not limited to areas of counseling relationships, professional responsibility, confidentiality and privacy, and resolving ethical issues
