In Mina’s vignette, there is several law and ethical issues to be considered. One of the law issues is Mina as a client who is minor. Having appropriate discussion with her parents for treating a minor is important, also reviewing and explaining informed consent with her parents in the first session is another thing to be done by the therapist.
