Stereotyping can also turn into a legal issue because arresting and turning away people of a specific race is a violation of citizen 's rights. For example, day laborers in the Cicero area were arrested as well as, a Hispanic shopper who was mistaken for a day laborer. This brought the company under public scrutiny from Hispanic groups. On the other end, a group called "Save Our State" believes that Home Depot is aiding illegal immigration, which is a legal issue. This may be difficult because it raises the risk of offending Hispanic groups, but a company should have the right to determine who can solicit outside or inside their establishment. Homeowner 's in the community also have a right to call law enforcement if a stranger is trespassing on their property. Since, there are 100,000, day laborers in the United States, Home Depot may want to follow the CSR model creating social good while, maintaining an economically profitable relationship with its current contractor customers. However, the decision to offer shelter to day laborers should be the responsibility of local governments in conjunction with community members. As Home Depot 's representative David Sandor states, "community and local governments need to lead in terms of responding to the larger issues. We are trying to operate a business, please our customers and be a good community partner." Day laborers contribute to the company 's stakeholder 's but they are not the most important stakeholder to the operation of the company. In this situation, I would have to agree with Friedman that corporations are only good when they are able to operate and earn
